Well guys just got my son's XKE and am ready to transform it into a Jr F200 "power mule"

Have not done anything other than remove the stock carb so some of these questions may be answered if when I open the block up.

1) the breather line comming off the top of the head that goes into the Air filter asembly ........ Do I need to have this line attached to somthing? Or do I cap it off or do I put some kind of a filter on it or connect it to a puke tank?

2) The stock throttle linkage ............ do I remove it and cap off the hole in the block? Is there some kind of governor attached in side?

3) My parts are on back order right now (cam, rod, fly wheel, ect) The pictures I have seen of the XKE show a difrent shroud will the Arc fly wheel fit behind the stock shroud?

4) One item that I keep forgetting about is the starter nut. Will a Briggs starter nut fit on a kohler? Where can I get a starter nut to fit a XKE?

Well there is a start guys.

More questions to come.

Time to feed the mule

Hi,

I don't run the Kohler F200, but have a couple friends who do. My suggestion would be to get in contact with Jeff Clements in Wisconsin. He makes / sells most of the Kohler F200 parts you will need. Haven't met Jeff, have E-mailed him and he appears to be a great guy. I will say this........the Kohler F200 he builds is a real monster, have seen a couple of them run and they are always up front.  FWIW.

Good luck.

Dave.
